Show Lamb Supplements by Goal

Show lamb supplements grouped by the purpose on the label — fill, bloom and coat, muscle, joints, and appetite — with links to the sheep-labeled product pages.

A supplement is not the base ration. The label says what the product is for, and which animals it names. This page groups products by that stated purpose.

A product is listed here only when its page names sheep or lambs, or when it says all species or all classes of livestock. A page that does neither is left out. Show-Rite’s sheep-labeled line has its own comparison, including the guaranteed analysis. The feeding timeline is the calendar. The base feed is a separate choice, covered in choosing a show lamb feed brand.

Always read and follow the product label directions for use, and consult your veterinarian before using any product.

Fill

These labels talk about rib, flank, belly, or show-day fill.

Bloom and coat

Coat work has a lead time. The longer comparison, including flaxseed and the commodity route, is Coat and Bloom for Show Lambs.

Rule Sure Shine is an oil-free coat spray, not a feed. The page says it can be used on all species of livestock and small-stock.

Muscle

Joints

The ingredient-by-ingredient comparison is Joint Supplements for Show Lambs. It covers LubriSynHA, Sure Champ Joint Juice, Show-Rite Rite Flex, Sunglo In Motion, Essential Equex, OptiWize Collagen Plus, MoorMan’s MoorFlex, and Sullivan’s Aspirnfre, which is listed for all classes of livestock.

All N Snake Oil is not in that comparison. The page says all species. It describes collagen, turmeric, and chondroitin for joint support after hauling and walking. The paste line on the page is 5 ml per 100 lb of body weight.

A lamb that stays lame or stiff needs a veterinarian. A supplement is not a diagnosis.

Appetite and gut

When a lamb stops eating, start with water and a veterinarian, then the products in Getting a Show Lamb to Eat. That post already covers rolled oats, molasses, Appetite Express granules, Sure Champ Spark, EatMoor, Dyne, and Heavy Weight.

Show day

These are labeled for the days around a show, not as the growing ration.
